Allow me to introduce the Staff at Plainview Motel & RV Park and tell you about just some of the amenities found here. Jesse and Lucy Bowles are the team leaders and Managers. Jesse will keep you up on the hot spots for fishing and crabbing while assuring that your stay here is all that you hoped it would be and more. Lucy stands by her house-keeping crew to insure that your room or vacation home is at its clean and comfortable best. She has all the inside scoops on the sights and events that surround the Coos Bay and Charleston area. Rest assured we will assist you in what ever you need to make your stay an enjoyable experience, from setting you up with crab pots and or clamming gear to cooking and cleaning your crab for you.

Our anchor man is Ron Potter. Ron is not only the grounds keeper here, he is also our resident historian as Ron has lived here in the area for 70 years and knows all the history and legends that go with the area. He also is our guide to a successful clamming adventure located just across the street. He can show you where and how to get several different species of clams and even teach you a trick or two to getting the big ones.
